Eccleston and Wolf is pleased to announce that former Maryland Bar Counsel, Glenn M. Grossman, recently joined the firm as an attorney. As recently reported by The Daily Record, at Eccleston and Wolf, Mr. Grossman’s practice will be focused upon the defense of attorney grievance matters, analyzing attorney ethics matters and providing ethical advice, as well as serving as an expert witness in connection with attorney ethical matters.
During his illustrious career, and, in particular, through his work at the Attorney Grievance Commission (AGC) and Office of Bar Counsel, including his tenure as Maryland’s Chief Attorney, Disciplinary and Regulatory Officer, from 2010 through 2017, Mr. Grossman has been recognized as a leader in the field of attorney ethics and disciplinary matters. Given his experience in these areas and desire to assist lawyers, Mr. Grossman will be a valuable asset to Eccleston and Wolf clients by providing ethical advice, defending attorney grievance matters and otherwise assisting attorneys to meet their ethical obligations.
However, it is worth highlighting that, in addition to his work at the Office of Bar Counsel, Mr. Grossman has taught numerous continuing legal education programs for Bar associations, insurance companies, Inns of Court, and law firms on the subjects of legal ethics and risk management. He has also taught courses at the Maryland Judicial Institute, guest lectured at several law schools, and is an adjunct professor at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and has taught at the University of Baltimore School of Law and at the Columbus School of Law of the Catholic University of America. Mr. Grossman’s experience and professionalism have been widely recognized. By way of example, in 2007, he received the Professional Legal Excellence Award for the Advancement of Professional Competence from the Maryland Bar Foundation, and, in 2015, he received the Foundation’s Steven P. Lemmey Award for the Advancement of Public Service Responsibility.
Eccleston & Wolf is honored to have Mr. Grossman join the firm, and looks forward to his contributions in continuing the firm’s longstanding history as a leader in defending lawyers in ethical matters in Maryland, the District of Columbia and Northern Virginia (the DMV), as well as the defense of legal malpractice claims.
