On February 6th, 2020, Steve Cornelius and Al Frederick, among others, presented a Risk Management Seminar to a multi-state law firm.  Steve provided guidance on the issue of liens, both usual and customary as well as Medicare-related.  Al offered guidance on the use of a Retainer agreement to limit exposure as well as the issues presented by the rapidly aging population of the United States and the limits of guidance to lawyers provided by the Rules of Professional Conduct for Maryland Lawyers.
